Measuring Success

Define what success means for your tele-solution in advance.  Here are some examples:

  • Improved response time to emergencies

  • Reduce waiting time for new referrals

  • Reduce staff travel time and costs

  • Improve patient experience

  • Support better patient self-management

  • Consider how you can measure the benefits; if numbers are low, consider a case study approach

  • Collect data within the service or request data monitoring changes from business information services

  • Consider using patient surveys or interviews.  Ethics approvals may be required
